A lifelong horseman and practicing farrier since 1972, Danvers Child is a Certified Journeyman Farrier who specializes in sport and performance horses. He's served as one of the Official Farriers at the Land Rover (formerly Rolex) Kentucky Three Day Event for over a decade, and in 2018 was inducted into the International Horseshoeing Hall of Fame.
Foxtail Forge & Farriery, a farrier practice based in Lafayette, Indiana, is home to Danvers Child, CJF. A life-long horseman and a practicing farrier since 1972, Danvers specializes in shoeing sport and performance horses.
In addition to his home practice, Danvers travels extensively, as a farrier, clinician, and as a consultant for farrier concerns.
